A PERSONAL HEALTH EVALUATION

Ideally Maharishi Ayurveda begins with a Personal Health Evaluation from a qualified practitioner. This takes about 60 minutes, and enables the practitioner to assess your health requirements. The practitioner will give personal advice on a range of methods for improving your health and on natural measures to rectify any underlying imbalances that are identified.

These may include:

Consultations are available either with a Maharishi Ayurveda Physician or a Maharishi Ayurveda Health Consultant.

Maharishi Ayurveda Physicians are medical doctors who have extensive additional training in Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health and incorporate these principles and therapies into their practices. The training of Maharishi Ayurveda Physicians is supervised by the Maharishi Ayurveda Council of Vaidyas. (Vaidyas are the professionally trained and state certified Ayurvedic practitioners of India. The Maharishi Ayurveda Council of Vaidyas is selected from leading vaidyas who have adopted the revival of the complete, integrated Ayurveda inspired by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.)

Arranging a consultation with a MAV physician

Maharishi Ayurveda Physicians are available for consultation at the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre, Skelmersdale, UK, and periodically at Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centres and Maharishi Vedic Centres (Transcendental Meditation Centres) around UK and Eire.

Your full one hour Personal Health Evaluation will cost £93, with follow up consultations £49 for 30 minutes.

Maharishi Ayurveda Health Advisors have been trained under the supervision of the Maharishi Ayurveda Council of Vaidyas to give personal advice for maintenance and promotion of health. The advice will be on the use of diet, daily and seasonal routines, and herbal and mineral supplements. Maharishi Ayurveda Health Advisors may or may not be trained to recommend or supervise panchakarma therapy.
